It is our agency owner and travel advisor Kim Curlin's birthday on October 19. In celebration of her special day, we're featuring ten of Kim's travel favorites which includes her fondest memories, experiences, and travel advice!

10 of Kim's Travel Favorites
What is your favorite travel destination of all time?
I'd have to say Perfect Day at CoCoCay, the private island owned by Royal Caribbean. I love the relaxing adults only area, the beach, and the fact that everyone can find something to do there. A few years ago, if you would have asked me this, I would have said Las Vegas because of the shows and how much there is to do and see.
Which destination would you most like to visit that you haven't yet?
As a travel advisor, I have many answers to that question! My top destination to visit would be Germany for the Christmas markets! Secondly, I would love to travel to Sloviania and Poland on a heritage tour. Last, I'd love to see the beaches at Turks and Caicos even though I’m not entirely a beach lover.
Do you have a favorite travel memory or experience?
Yes! Getting to experience WDW with my husband for the first time when he had never been there before is my favorite travel experience. It was magical! It was fun to see the parks through his perspective for the first time.
What’s your favorite travel activity—exploring cities, hiking, relaxing on the beach, or something else?
I LOVE TO SHOP!!! When I travel, I always looking for unique things to purchase that I couldn’t find at home.
What is your favorite thing you've ever drank while traveling?
My favorite drink of all time is the Miami Vice and the best one I've ever had was on Icon of the Seas. Hands down!
Do you have a favorite travel season—spring, summer, fall, or winter?
If I had a choice I would go to the Caribbean in February-March or Europe in the fall. I like the temperature outside to be just right for me if I can plan it that way!
When you fly, do you prefer the window, middle, or aisle seat?
Aisle seat and close to the front!
Do you have a favorite travel companion or someone you love to travel with most?
Yes, I have a few! My husband John AND my travel buddies/friends/travel associates, Jamie and Debbie!
Do you have a favorite must pack item?
LOL I take the world with me! Charging cables, packing cubes, phone cases, cruise hooks, sunscreen and aloe, specially picked out outfits just for that trip, all the high powered gadgets... if you name it, I'd probably love to have it while traveling!
What’s your best travel tip or advice?
Start packing early! Often I need to take my own travel advice... LOL. That's why I'm saying it here, because I am almost always a last-minute packer.
